This is a common question I hear from those who are struggling to succeed in their businesses. And it seems innocuous enough. A genuine concern. But it’s more sinister than it seems. And it often betrays a whole host of other issues around self-worth and self-belief. What’s worse is, that little voice asking, “What if…” has a huge amount of sway over the decisions you make and, ultimately, the actions that you take. In fact, that little “What if…” may well be the cause of the struggle you’re currently going through. Because… It prevents you from making smart decisions, leaving you stuck in fearful over-analysis-paralysis It prevents you from getting highly visible in case people don’t like you or are sick of the sight of you It prevents you from reaching out to prospects in case you mess it up or “blow the sale” It prevents you from powerfully serving the clients you do have because you’re too focused on your own nagging self-doubt to lead and support them fearlessly It prevents you from asking for and receiving help, guidance and support It prevents you from creating the circumstances for success So, instead try asking, “What if I succeed beyond my wildest dreams?” Jo xx P.S.
